RFID Cable Seals | IDT
Our RFID cable seals are extremely dependent, resilient, and efficient enough to withstand water and perform in high-temperature, high-pressure conditions. Heat and chemical resistance are both features of these cable seals.
These C-TPAT-compliant cable seals are classified as “High Security” seals and meet ISO 17712:2013 requirements.
RFID Cable Seals can only be used once and must be cut away with cable cutters, offering anti-theft protection as well as avoiding barrier weakening and damage.
Containers in transit are also protected by them. Steel wire/cables are enclosed in a strong plastic shell.
This is a High-Security RFID Cable seal that unambiguously identifies the container or vehicle it is connected to.
It can be easily and reliably read by fixed reading units placed at transit gates or by handheld reading units manually operated by inspectors and gives back its unique code as a basic RFID cable seal.
When compared to standard RFID Cable Seals, tamper-evident RFID seals can permanently store in their memory the tamper event by activating a status bit named TAG TAMPER ALARM, thus providing immediate information about seal status at readings (tampered/not tampered).
