If you have an old CAT6 cable with 100 meters lying around, you can use it to make a new CAT6 cable. All you need is a pair of scissors, a wire stripper, and some electrical tape. Cut off the ends of the cable with the scissors.

Then cut each end into four pieces. Strip the insulation off the wires by pulling them apart with the wire stripper. Now wrap the wires together with the electrical tape. Make sure the wires are connected properly before wrapping the whole thing up.

It’s easy to find old cables lying around. You might even have some lying around in your home. If you do, you can reuse them to make a new cable. Just follow these steps to turn an old cable into a new one.

To cut off the ends of the cat6 cable wires, first, remove any insulation covering the ends of the wires. Then use a pair of pliers to gently pull the end of each wire away from the other. This will expose the bare copper inside the wire.

Once you have stripped the insulation off both ends of the wires, twist them together so that the two exposed copper wires touch each other. Now, wrap the twisted section with electrical tape.
