Human Detection Sensor Temperature Module TDM95 #Futuristic Powerful Machine

Human Detction Sensor Temperature Module ZK-TDM95 has been designed, developed, and manufactured by ZKTeco. It is a slave device, i.e. it can work with some main devices but not can be used in standalone mode. It can be used with many ZKTeco machines, like biometric time attendance systems and access control machines.

Human Detction Sensor is supporting Face Depot, Turnstiles, U-face, S-face, SilkBio, MB60, IN09, K60, etc. This device detects the temperature from the forehead or by hand from a distance of 15–30 centimeters.

Human Detction Sensor has analog display is used with the device to achieve more clarity and quick visuals to see the temperature of upcoming users who want to access the premises. It gives the temperature within a second of a friction.

Human Detction Sensor Module ZK-TDM95 is an indoor RS232/RS485/USB module used for temperature detection, applicable to both time and access control devices of ZKTeco.

Human Detction Sensor use 12v power on the machine, we can give power to this item by the main master device or we can use a separate adapter of 12V 1-2AMP. It’s recommended to use the extra separate adapter for the best working experience on this device.

No data can be collected from all users about the temperature recorded by this device. Temperature feedback to the main device is not available because it’s a temporary machine for the ongoing pandemic around the world. Temperature scanning is essential in this pandemic, and that is the main reason for ZKTeco to build this device by ZKTeco for working with additional pre-devices that users are currently using on their premises.

In an era where precision is paramount and hygiene is non-negotiable, the TDM95 Human Detction Sensor Temperature Module emerges as a next-gen solution designed for the future. Powered by cutting-edge sensor technology and wrapped in a compact yet intelligent design, this module doesn’t just measure—it protects, empowers, and integrates seamlessly into the fabric of modern security and wellness systems.

Built for environments where safety meets sophistication, the TDM95 ensures that every person who enters your space is quickly and accurately scanned for body temperature, contributing to healthier environments without friction or delay.

This is not just a sensor. It’s a guardian module engineered to operate quietly, efficiently, and relentlessly—keeping your access points smart, safe, and always one step ahead.

The Human Detction Sensor TDM95 is designed for contactless temperature screening with a high-accuracy thermopile sensor capable of measuring body temperatures from 32.0 °C to 42.9 °C (89.6 °F to 109.22 °F). It operates within a precision range of ±0.3 °C (±0.54 °F), which means you can trust the data it delivers even in critical environments like hospitals, airports, or corporate buildings.

Its Human Detction Sensor has USB-C powered setup makes it incredibly easy to deploy, while its plug-and-play design ensures minimal downtime during installation. With a measurement distance of just 3 to 5 cm, it offers close-range scanning ideal for turnstiles, kiosks, or integrated terminals.

The digital display—subtle yet futuristic—offers real-time feedback in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, configurable with a simple long-press operation. No noise, no moving parts—just pure, accurate thermal intelligence.

Constructed with durable materials and optimized for indoor use, the TDM95 thrives in ambient environments between 15 °C and 35 °C, with humidity tolerance up to 85% RH. Whether you’re deploying in an office tower, school, or smart retail space, this module fits seamlessly into your ecosystem.

When idle, the device intelligently rests, showing ‘—’ on the display, waiting patiently for the next interaction. It’s not just a sensor—it’s a sentinel for your space.

Pair the TDM95 with ZKTeco’s Time & Attendance or Access Control terminals, and you unlock a smarter, safer access experience. This isn’t an accessory—it’s an upgrade to your infrastructure.

From the bold exterior to the precise internals, every element of the TDM95 was designed with purpose: to detect, protect, and perform.

Welcome to the future of biometric intelligence.

FAQ

What is the TDM95 Temperature Module used for?
The TDM95 is designed for non-contact human body temperature detection. It’s ideal for access control systems, time & attendance terminals, and health-screening points in corporate, commercial, and public environments.

How does the TDM95 detect body temperature?
It uses a high-precision thermopile sensor that captures infrared radiation from the human body at close range (3–5 cm) to calculate core temperature in real time.

What is the detection range of the TDM95?
It detects human body temperatures from 32.0 °C to 42.9 °C (or 89.6 °F to 109.22 °F), covering the full range necessary for effective health screening.

How accurate is the temperature reading?
The TDM95 provides ±0.3 °C (±0.54 °F) precision, offering high accuracy in controlled indoor environments.

How close does someone need to be for a reading?
Optimal measurement occurs within a 3 to 5 cm distance from the sensor. Too far or too close may reduce accuracy.

Does the device make any noise during operation?
No. The TDM95 operates silently with no mechanical parts, ensuring a non-intrusive experience in quiet environments.

How is the TDM95 powered?
It connects via USB Type-C and operates with 5 V DC power—no external power adapter required.

Can I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit?
Yes. The unit can be switched by long-pressing the reset button for 3 seconds. A new reading will then lock in the preferred unit.

What happens when the device is idle?
If no body is detected for about 10 seconds, the display automatically shows ‘—’, indicating standby mode.

Is it compatible with ZKTeco devices?
Yes. The TDM95 is engineered to integrate seamlessly with ZKTeco Access Control and Time & Attendance terminals, including face recognition models.

Can I use the TDM95 as a standalone product?
No. It’s a temperature detection module, not a standalone terminal. It must be connected to a host device or integrated system.

What are the ideal environmental conditions for use?
It performs best indoors at 15 °C to 35 °C (59 °F to 95 °F) and 10% to 85% relative humidity.

Can it be used outdoors?
Use outdoors is not recommended. Extreme temperatures, sunlight, and wind can affect accuracy.

How is the TDM95 installed?
Simply connect it via USB-C to a compatible terminal. No complex installation or software configuration is needed.

Does it require frequent calibration?
No calibration is required under normal conditions. The module is factory-calibrated and designed for plug-and-play accuracy.

Is the TDM95 compliant with health and safety regulations?
While not a medical device, it is engineered for health-screening and aligns with safety policies for non-contact entry-point monitoring.

What does the LED display show?
The LED shows a four-digit temperature reading in real time. When inactive, it displays ‘—’ until the next scan.

What is the warranty period?
The TDM95 typically includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty, covering defects in material or workmanship.

What is included in the box?
Inside the box you’ll find the TDM95 module, a USB Type-C cable, and a quick start guide/manual.

Can the TDM95 store temperature records?
No. It does not store data locally. It transmits data to the host device, where software handles logging, storage, or alerting.
